At First Glance...

…it’s hard to see how just two musicians can bring so much sound to a stage. It’s equally difficult to see the hearts and dedication of Denver and Travis from a website or through listening to just a song or two. But after having played over 300 concerts together, it’s almost impossible to walk away from a Coincidence Maybe performance without knowing their dedication to creating a time and space for God to speak to the hearts of anyone willing to listen.

"Coincidence Maybe played at Marion First Church of the Nazarene this past July. Travis and Denver are fantastic musicians and likable guys. Their musical tightness is evidence that they've been playing together for a long time. They did a good job of shaping each set to be most approachable and engaging for both our contemporary and classic services. Coincidence Maybe were easy to work with, did all their own set-up and tear down, and cleaned up their own mess, which is not always the case with touring groups. I would have them back and would recommend them to colleagues and peers seeking a solid, fun, spiritual-minded musical act."
-Adam DeWeber, Marion First Church of the Nazarene

Less IS More...

Since beginning the “Essence Initiative Tour”, Coincidence Maybe has been performing as a duo. This reduction in the size of the touring group has allowed them to be far more flexible in almost every way. They are able to tailor each and every set to be appropriate to each church or venue. This is especially true when it comes to knowing the audience and how they can best create a bond between the new and familiar. They accomplish this through the use of original songs, familiar songs by other artists, praise and worship sets (including the use of hymns wherever appropriate), and by displaying lyrics and visual aids to best translate the song into a tangible experience. By traveling as a duo, the added flexibility truly creates a situation where less IS more!

"I have yet to hear any two piece live band sound as full and rich as Coincidence Maybe. I appreciated their ability to speak to both young and old in two completely different style worship services."

-Josh Allen
Youth/Worship Minister, Grace Community Church

"I have known Travis and Denver personally for years. The only thing better than their musical ability in composition and performance, is their authenticity as sojourner's. These guys follow Christ. The cool thing is when you combine their spiritual veracity with their musical creativity. Love these guys."
-Pastor Tim Miller
Senior Pastor, South Dayton Free Methodist Church

"These guys are concerned with musical excellence and Biblical authenticity as they worship the King of Kings. The music is on the cutting edge and the lyrics are thought provoking and challenging. The love that they have for God and His people can be seen as they take time to meet and talk with people before, during and after the concerts. Coincidence Maybe is a ministry that I can easily recommend without reservation!"

-Pastor Mark Ledford

Senior Pastor, Westerville Church of the Nazarene

What can you do?

We usually ask for three things when coming to perform:
1 night lodging
1 meal
Some financial arrangement that gets us close to $750 per event.
This can be through a combination of the following means:
-church guarantee
-love offering
-ticket sales (for Concert events only)

We will provide a pdf file of a flyer that you can use with your event’s information. We will also provide advertising for the event through our website and social networking sites. However, the more work you can put in to spreading the word, the more successful the outreach will be.

Contact us through the form below, directly at, or at 615.686.9333. Ask for Travis or Denver specifically if you know them or have spoken with them previously. Don’t be afraid to make unique requests or to just pick our brains as you’re planning an event. We are always excited to try new ways to reach out to those in need of hearing the Word!

"We had Coincidence Maybe visit our church as a part of our worship service and everyone agrees it was a wonderful experience. People are still talking about how much they enjoyed the music and energy that they provided that morning. The morning was rich with worship and the sweet sounds of beautiful music that are a blessing to God and to our congregation. We're looking forward to having Coincidence Maybe back again soon."
