Coincidence Maybe

Consider This... Trivia Bites!
As we said, we've self produced all of our albums and some of the things we've done while making these albums are good for a laugh.  Other things just might be interesting...

  • All electric guitars were recorded through a mic'd speaker cabinent lodged in a fireplace
  • "Take Me Away"'s BGV's were labeled the "travis tabernacle choir" because there were so many tracks of travis harmonizing with himself.
  • Only two tracks on the album was recorded digitally, "Unspoken" and "Ran Away" due to the fact that they were written after Dustin (engineer) bought a computer and we needed more songs.  The rest were recorded on an antiquated 8 track tape recorder.
  • Both of those digitally recorded songs we rewritten and recorded again on later albums
  • Travis failed 2 classes that semester; The rest of the band...0
  • "Poor Man's Song" was the oldest song in that set with the mandolin part dating back to when Travis was in high school.
  • "Ran from You" the album's hidden track, and "Lord of Life" were recorded for an earlier demo on a 4 track recorder.  (We were poor musicians!!!)
  • Due to the humorously instable history of Bass players in the band, Travis has played the bass parts on every recording the band has done.
