WE ARE NASHVILLE!!!

It's a common slogan around here, but "WE ARE NASHVILLE" is the rallying cry for a city that got hit by the worst flood in it's history, and yet worked together to rebuild itself.  It's been amazing to see the outpouring of support and efforts from the community.  We took on some water in our ground level studio, but we're very blessed to have not had any major damage or loss!

January Update/Seth

We hope everyone's navigated safely through the holidays and that the New Year finds you a little better for it. We have been working through November and December on readying a new project that we'll begin recording in a couple of weeks. We call it "The Essence Project" or EP for short. This project will be Denver and Travis playing songs both new and old in a truly acoustic way. One acoustic guitar, vocals, and percussion. We'll be recording this songs to match the way we'll be playing the …

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!  Santa brought us a new cd this year and it's the exact present we were hoping for.  We're looking to put out an EP early next year, go back on tour, and watch what unfolds from there.  It's certainly an exciting time for us, but we know it's not that way for everyone this year.  As we turn the page on the calendar to 2010 our prayers are for a fulfilling and rewarding year for all no matter the finances, wealth, or station in life.  See you in 2010!

June got here fast

Before we knew it June 1st arrived, and with it came the beginning of the actual recording of the new album.  This month's focus is Bass guitar and Drums, along with some piano and other keyed instruments.  So far, we've been able to keep up a really good pace despite the rough condition some of these songs are in.  During May's writing sessions we were able to get all of the songs to a working form that I'm sure will resemble what eventually gets recorded, but …

May's Days...by Travis

We're in the heart of the recording phase now.  May is our month for doing the final rewrites on all of the songs that have made the cut to be recorded.  It's a long list still, and I'm sure that a song or two won't make it past these sessions, but we've still got 20+ to work on.  We're also using these remaining rehearsal weeks to exorcise the remaining ghosts in the system, which are numerous!  But we're settling in for a great summer.  We've had couple of real easy song …

Ohio to Tennessee (by Seth)

On the first Sunday of 2009, I dusted off my Roland XV-88 and rediscovered how heavy it still is. I then packed my car to the limit and set off for a night drive to Johnson City, Tennessee. Arriving here at Trav’s apartment, I am greeted by the wide-eyed expression and infectious laugh of little Bailey, who turned one years old this week. Things are different now… and yet things are the same. Denver arrived shortly after my …

Bringing you up to current...(by Travis)

Where to start... I guess I'll start at the beginning and bring us up to current.  About a year and a half ago, Denver and I started doing a better job of staying in touch after a few years of not really staying in touch.  We were both living in Tennessee and were working on music projects that were only partially fulfilling at the time so we started up dialogue on what it would take to get us working together again.  Both of us kept coming back to the song that …

It's all new...new to me anyways! By Travis

Just got the new webpage up and running and I'm as excited as can be...about a website anyways.  You see, for years all the web and technical facets of the band were handled by Dustin Yoder, Supergenius.  He was unreal at getting the most out of 0's and 1's. He would've been able to build a site like this blindfolded and using only a wrist watch, 2 rubber bands, and an etch-a-sketch with only one working knob.  I'm not kidding.  I've seen him do it.  But this time …
